Pawan Kalyan Lends His Vocals for Powerful Japanese Track in OG

They Call Him OG is one of the most awaited Telugu movies this year. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment, the film stars Pawan Kalyan as Ojas . Other actors include Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy. OG will release in theatres on September 25, 2025.

Before the release, the makers have shared songs and promotional videos to excite the fans and audience. Earlier tracks like ‘Firestorm, ‘ ‘Suvvi Suvvi, ‘ and ‘Guns and Roses, ‘ composed by Thaman S, were well received.

Adding to the excitement, the team released a special song called ‘Washi Yo Washi, ‘ sung by Pawan Kalyan. The song is written in Japanese by director Sujeeth and is a short poem or haiku. In it, Ojas challenges his enemy Omi, played by Emraan Hashmi. The music features Japanese and Nakoda drums by percussionist Sivamani, giving it a strong and dramatic feel. Pawan Kalyan can also be seen in a video recording the song, showing his interest in the film and character.

Fans have loved ‘Washi Yo Washi’ and praised Pawan Kalyan’s energy. The makers also released pictures of the lyric sheet written by Pawan Kalyan himself in his comfortable language, Telugu, when he sang the song to pronounce the lyrics.

As things stand today, premiere shows are set for September 24 at 9 PM in Telangana and September 25 at 1 AM in Andhra Pradesh.
