Nandamuri Balakrishna joined hands with director Boyapati Srinu for the sequel of Akhanda. The film was supposed to have a theatrical release this month. But the post-production delays pushed the film to a later date. As there is no clarity over when Akhanda 2 will hit the screens, Balayya himself confirmed the date in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
When the legislators and ministers asked Balakrishna about Akhanda 2, he encouraged all of them to watch OG first, as it is releasing the day after tomorrow. Additionally, Balakrishna confirmed that OG is releasing on December 5th. Earlier, the date was picked by the makers of Raja Saab, but they moved to Sankranthi next year.
Balakrishna also revealed that the promotions will begin soon and expressed his confidence in the film’s content. He also stated that the Hindi dub is coming out well and the audiences would love the film.
Earlier, Balakrishna and Boyapati worked on Simha, Legend, and Akhanda. Thaman is working for Akhanda 2 again. Most likely, the film’s new posters or teaser would ariive during Dusshera or Diwali.
