Janhvi Turns Heads In Sridevi’s Iconic Saree

Serving as a thread connecting past and present, Janhvi Kapoor honored her late mother, Sridevi, at the Mumbai premiere of Homebound. She wore the same royal blue and black saree with gold embroidery that Sridevi had worn at Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding reception in 2017.

The royal blue fabric moved smoothly, and the black velvet folds gave it more texture.  A bracelet and a ring that matched her saree added a gentle shine, matching the gold color. Together, they made her look elegant, but not so much that they took away from the feelings behind the outfit.

Janhvi’s hair and makeup finished the tribute nicely. She had a neat bun down the middle, so the focus stayed on her jewelry and saree. Homebound is set to releases in theatres on the 26th of September.
