They Call Him OG is finally coming to theaters in less than 12 hours. Fans have shown huge interest, with advance bookings for opening day and premieres crossing ₹75 crores.
Overseas pre-sales are strong, totaling $3.3 million, with $2.3 million from North America alone. In India, premieres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have brought in around ₹40 crores, even with ticket prices at about ₹1,000. Many locations have not yet started bookings, so the total could grow further.
Experts say the film could easily collect over ₹100 crores worldwide on its first day. If the audience likes the film as much as expected, it could even reach ₹150 crores. The world premiere will take place at the same time across all locations at 10 PM IST on September 24.
The strong advance bookings show that fans have been waiting for this film for a long time. Overseas audiences, especially in North America, are also excited. In India, fans have filled theaters even with higher ticket prices, showing Pawan Kalyan’s popularity.
They Call Him OG stars Pawan Kalyan, Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. The film is written and directed by Sujeeth, with music by Thaman S. It is produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainments.
