Adivi Sesh’s Leg Injury, Dacoit Delayed

Adivi Sesh’s upcoming Pan-India film Dacoit will no longer release on its previously scheduled date of December 25th. The delay comes as Sesh continues to recover from a leg injury sustained earlier, which has impacted the film’s shooting schedule.

With a major, high-intensity action sequence still pending, one that demands peak physical performance, the team has decided to postpone the release in the interest of the actor’s safety and the film’s quality. The sequence is crucial to the story and will be filmed once Sesh is fully fit. An official announcement regarding the new release date will be made soon.

Dacoit marks the directorial debut of Shaniel Deo and is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and Suniel Narang under the Annapurna Studios banner. Touted as a gripping revenge drama with a unique love story at its core, the film stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will be seen in a pivotal role as Inspector Swamy.
