Three Stars; Single Film; One Big Hope For A Comeback

Vijay Deverakonda’s new film, directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, was launched this morning with a pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. Bankrolled by Dil Raju, this movie features Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Tentatively titled SVC 59 and rumoured to be titled as “Rowdy Janardhana”, the regular shoot of the movie is set to begin soon.

Meanwhile, this project is going to be a litmus test for three people, Vijay, Dil Raju and Keerthy. Vijay has been going through a rough phase over the last few years. His last film, Kingdom, was released amidst huge expectations but failed to live up to the hype. The same is the case with Keerthy Suresh. Barring Dasara, the Mahanati actress hasn’t tasted success in Telugu for many years now. She desperately needs a success to make a strong comeback.

Producer Dil Raju is also facing a similar fate, like Vijay and Keerthy. This year, he came up with Game Changer, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam and Thammudu. Except for Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, the other two films flopped big time and incurred huge losses to the producer. He is betting big on this project and investing a huge amount of money as well. So, he is hoping it to be a huge success.

Totally, Rowdy Janardhana is going to be a big hope for these three celebrities to score a huge success. The film is expected to hit the screens in 2026.
