Exclusive: Raashi Khanna Opens Up on her Heartbreaks & Reality

Telusu Kada is one of the upcoming movies in Telugu. Starring SIddhu Jonnalagadda, Srinidhi Shetty, and Raashi Khanna in the lead roles, the film marks the debut of Neeraja Kona as a director. The team began the promotions and Raashi Khanna has recently interacted with us and shared some profound thoughts about relationships and how they impact individuals.

Speaking about the film Telusu Kada and the point it conveys, she makes it clear that it is not any other triangular love story but carries a beautiful point that one must experience on the big screen. Having said that, Raashi made it clear that Telusu Kada will reflect the reality of love.

Sharing her childhood memories and how she grew up with the concept of love, Raashi admitted of enjoying a lot of Shah Rukh Khan’s films. “I enjoyed them thoroughly and thought that love would be similar to that in real life. But in reality, it is different. What we watch on the screen is different from what we experience for real. There is loyalty, and more that the films do not describe. Today, we can not relate to DDLJ,” she said.

In the same context, Raashi admitted that movies must reflect reality rather than imaginary things, and according to her, Telusu Kada reflects the reality. Throughout the interview, Raashi shared some profound thoughts about life, relationships, and heartbreaks out of her personal experience.

“I could understand all these things only after I went through heartbreaks. I have asked myself why my happiness should depend on others. I should do what is in my hands and not expect anything,” said the actress.

Telusu Kada is one of the four movies, hitting the screens this Diwali.
