Bison Trailer: Raw Tale of a Oppressed Force

Versatile actor Vikram’s son, Dhruv Vikram, has yet to achieve a major box office success. He is now betting high on his next film titled Bison. Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film’s trailer is out yesterday, and it has the potential to bring Dhruv back to his successful form.

As usual, director Mari Selvaraj picks up a protagonist from a lower caste. The trailer opens up with the story of a lower caste boy, played by Dhruv, who is obsessed with playing Kabaddi.

However, he is consistently oppressed by others. But, Dhruv constantly struggles to assert his identity and fulfill the aspirations of his community. The trailer then unfolds into the youngster rising up the ranks.

The trailer looks like raw and intense with strong emotion connecting the threads. Mari Selvaraj is using his storytelling techniques as usual to immerse the audience in the world that he built with a lot of emotional depth.

Both Anupama Parameswaran and Rajisha Vijayan look impressive in their rustic village women roles, adding authenticity and warmth to the film’s setting.

The film is hitting the screens on October 17th, on the occasion of Diwali.
