Director Vikram K Kumar is known for films like Manam, 24 and Hello. He has been waiting for the right project after a break. Earlier, he was in talks to direct Nithiin under UV Creations for a film titled Swari, which was said to be a sports-based story on horse riding. That film did not move forward for undisclosed reasons.
Now, reports suggest UV Creations has taken Vikram Kumar’s script to Vijay Deverakonda. The director recently met Vijay and narrated the story. Sources say Vijay liked it and gave his initial nod. However, he is said to be waiting for the full bound script before making the final decision. The film is expected to be produced by UV Creations, and an official announcement could follow if everything falls into place.
It is not yet clear whether Vikram is using the same script planned for Nithiin or a fresh idea. Either way, the combination has potential. Vikram is known for emotional and dramatic stories with thrilling moments, while Vijay is known for his charishma and screen presence.
Vijay is currently working on two films. One is a period drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The other is a rural drama directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and produced by Dil Raju. Both films are expected to release next year. If this new project moves ahead, it will add another film to Vijay’s growing lineup. Fans are already curious to see how the collaboration between the actor and the director will turn out.
