Rishab Shetty scored the mega blockbuster Kantara: Chapter 1 recently. Now that he is free from the works of Kantara, the actor is shifting his focus to his next film. In a recent development, it is revealed that Rishab Shetty will next be seen in the sequel to the film Hanu-Man, directed by Prashanth Varma.
Titled Jai Hanuman, the film will completely focus on the story of Lord Hanuman. The film’s shoot is expected to begin rolling in December this year. Prashanth Varma is already occupied with pre-production work for the movie. Moreover, Rishab Shetty is also not working on any other film at the moment apart from Jai Hanuman.
Rishab Shetty recently offered prayers at the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysore, where he announced that Jai Hanuman will be his next film. Rishab was also supposed to work on Kantara: Chapter 2 but nothing is finalized about it yet.
On the other hand, Rishab Shetty also has The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, to be directed by Sandeep Singh. Meanwhile, Prashanth Varma has Zombie Reddy 2 but he will not direct the film. So, the ground is set for Prashanth Varma for Jai Hanuman.
