After Paradha’s Fall, Anupama Finds Her Groove, But…

In a span of 1-2 months, Anupama Parameswaran witnessed the tables turning in her favour at the box office. While she pinned many hopes on Paradha, the film did not meet her expectations but the films that she did after that brought her success. In this context, the actress is happy but we have to see if this decides the path for the actress in picking up her next films.

During the promotions of Paradha, Anupama kept on saying that the film could be a game-changer for her. Additionally, she also went on to state that the one film brought her a lot of satisfaction as an actress. In reality, the film was praised for its plot but criticized for its execution, which led to Anupama’s performance going unnoticed.

In no time, Anupama scored a hit in Telugu again with Kishkindhapuri, where her performance also contributed to the film’s success. And then in Malayalam, she scored success with JSK: Janaki vs State of Kerala and The Pet Detective. Now in Tamil, for this Diwali, she scored a decent hit with Bison. Each of these movies belongs to different genres, giving a scope for Anupama to perform.

Reacting to such a scenario recently, Anupama stated, “I am very disappointed with the result of Paradha. But I feel blessed to be a part of all these movies. When we do a film, we hope that it will be liked by everyone. That is what I try with each film. When a film succeeds, I feel motivated to do better films and make better choices.”

Anupama will next be seen in Tamil film Lockdown and she has not signed any other film yet.
