SIDPA, South India Digital Publishers Association, representing all major digital media organizations, strongly condemns the use of unparliamentary and abusive language by Telugu cinema producer Razesh Danda toward a media outlet covering his film.
Professional differences must be expressed with dignity and respect. Having a public voice or platform does not entitle anyone to insult, threaten, or demean others. Such behavior is entirely unacceptable and violates the principles of decency and professional conduct.
Issuing public threats – including threats of violence or harm – is a criminal offense under the law.
SIDPA reaffirms that it will not tolerate any form of intimidation, abuse, or threats toward journalists or media houses. We remain firm in upholding press freedom and ensuring accountability for anyone who seeks to undermine it.
