Can Pradeep Score A Hat-Trick 100 Cr This Year?

Young actor Pradeep Ranganathan, who scored blockbusters with his first two films, Love Today and Dragon, scored a hat-trick success with his latest film, Dude. The film also happened to be his consecutive 100-crore grosser after Dragon. If he manages to score another 100-crore grosser with his next film, Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), then he will be the only hero to have three straight 100-crore grossers in a single calendar year.

Released on October 17, Dude collected 100 crores within six days of its release (as per makers) and emerged as a superhit at the box office. Next up, Pradeep will arrive with LIK, which is slated for release on December 18. This will be his third release this year. After scoring two back-to-back 100 crore-grossers, it remains to be seen if Pradeep scores a hat-trick in a single calendar year with LIK.

After Dude’s success, there will be a good anticipation around LIK as well. So, it will definitely get very good openings in Tamil Nadu as well as the Telugu states. All it needs to do is engage audiences well. If it manages to do that, LIK may surely become another 100-crore grosser, given the current popularity of Pradeep.
