Vanga Sparks A Big Debate In B-Town With A Single Frame

Sandeep Reddy Vanga and controversies go hand in hand. Be it with Arjun Reddy or Kabir Singh, or even Animal, Vanga’s every film stirred a controversy in some form. The same is the case with his next film, Spirit. This time, Sandeep sparked a debate on social media even before starting Spirit’s shoot. A section of Shah Rukh Khan fans are upset with a single frame in Spirit’s new video, which dropped the other day, and are raising their objection against Vanga’s film.

Getting into the story, Sandeep Reddy Vanga released a special “Sound Story” video of Spirit last night on the occasion of the lead actor Prabhas’s birthday. In the video, Prabhas was termed as “India’s Biggest Superstar”. This tagline didn’t go well with a section of Shah Rukh Khan fans, who criticised Vanga on social media.

They are arguing that Shah Rukh is unarguably the biggest superstar in India, considering his global fandom. On the other side, Prabhas fans and Telugu cinema fans are defending Vanga’s move by arguing that Prabhas is the current biggest Superstar in India, considering his track record in recent years. Due to one tagline, there is a heated debate going on between the SRK fandom and the Prabhas fandom on social media.

Prabhas fans argue that though Shah Rukh enjoys a fanbase across the globe, we can’t deny the fact that most of the recent blockbusters in Indian cinema are Prabhas’s films, including Baahubali, Baahubali 2, Salaar and Kalki. They say that while SRK only has King in his lineup, Prabhas has The Raja Saab, Fauzi, Spirit, Kalki 2 and Salaar 2 in his kitty, which are expected to do double the business of King. They further added that, thus, Prabhas can easily be termed as India’s current biggest superstar.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga created controversy in Bollywood with wild characterisations of protagonists in Kabir Singh and Animal. When people are expecting him to spark a debate with Spirit’s lead character too, he did it quite early with a single frame of mentioning his hero as the biggest superstar in India.
