Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion were industry hits when they released theatrically years ago. Now, the combined version of the franchise, Baahubali: The Epic, is going to create epic records at the box office. Defying all speculations, Baahubali: The Epic has opened huge at the theatres upon its release.
According to the trade reports, Baahubali: The Epic is going to open with a record Rs. 10 crore advance sales. This is an earth-shattering opening for a re-release film. Going by these advance sales, the official day one and USA premiere numbers are going to be huge.
The overseas premieres have already started, and the movie has been getting a unanimous positive response from those centres. Initially, when it was said that two films had been combined into a 3-hour 45-minute version, many people were sceptical whether it would do well in theatres, considering the lengthy runtime for an already released franchise.
However, all those doubts were cleared as people who watched the film are praising it unanimously and are urging others to relive the epic once again in theatres.
With this positive response all over, Baahubali: The Epic is expected to do big business at the box office. The domestic premieres will begin tonight, and the film will be officially released tomorrow.
