Why Two Legendary Actors Confusing The Audience ?

Even inexperienced actors who did just a few films will not take risk and announce their upcoming projects without locking the scripts. But, legendary actors Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan seem to have been got carried away by the huge buzz surrounding their collaboration and decided to formally announce films even without finalising proper scripts.

This is exposed after Tamil director Sundar C opted out from the much hyped ‘Thalaivar 173’ which was supposed to reunite Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan after so many years. Last week, Thalaivar 173 was announced by Kamal Haasan’s production house with Sundar C as director. Kamal Haasan will don the producer’s hat for this film which stars Rajinikanth in lead roles. Due to unforeseen reasons, Sundar C has announced that he is stepping aside from this project. 

Reacting on this development, producer and actor Kamal Haasan made a shocking revelation that the script is yet to be finalized as Rajinikanth was not fully convinced. He further stated that Sundar C is out of contention now and the team will continue to hear scripts until Rajinikanth likes and gives the go-ahead signal. This statement came as a big shock to both Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s fans as they were wondering the rationale behind announcing the film even without finalising the script. 

Kamal also gave another shocking statement that both of them are also hearing scripts for the ambitious project which will see both of them sharing screen after four decades. Surprisingly, both actors formally confirmed to the media a few months ago that they are going to act together very soon in a film. 

So, it is clear that both Thalaivar 173 and Rajini – Kamal film were confirmed even before the scripts were finalized. Fans of both superstars were confused with the intention behind the announcement of these projects within even finalising the scripts. This is an unnecessary strategy which is aimed to garner attention in the public without having bound scripts. 

While the hunt for a competent director to helm Thalaivar 173 is currently on as admitted by Kamal Haasan, there is no clarity yet on when the Rajinikanth – Kamal Haasan project will take off.
