There is a famous saying in Indian politics, which goes like “There are no permanent enemies or friends in politics.” Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu has proven this right multiple times in the past and he did the same recently before the 2024 election by gelling back with PM Modi.
Coming to the topic now, a leading national media channel asked Chandrababu about his current relationship with Prime Minister Modi and also tried to get a controversial comment by asking about the frictions in the past.
Chandrababu did not lose his cool as he gave a very mature response to this otherwise tough question.
“Our relation with Modi is very good. Not just Andhra Pradesh, but all of India needs a strong and capable leader like him now. About the frictions in the past, they don’t cast a spell now. We are in very good terms with the Prime Minister, and it will remain that way.” Babu said.
The chief minister further clarified that he never had any personal friction with the Prime Minister any day. This is a strong reply to certain doubters who often dig up the conflicts in the past.
It must be primarily noted that Chandrababu differ with Modi back in 2019, only for the interests of Andhra Pradesh. This was resolved by 2024, and considering the current support that the centre is giving to Andhra Pradesh and its capital Amaravati, things are looking very good between these two veterans.
