Sensational filmmaker SS Rajamouli has landed in a controversy when he made some athiest remarks on Hanuman during the Globetrotter launch event. His comments about not believing in Hanuman triggered a major controversy. Now, Rashtriya Vanara Sena filed a complaint against the director in Saroornagar Police Station.
As per the reports, the Vanara Sena members are objecting to the comments that he made on the stage. They alleged that Rajamouli made derogatory remarks about Lord Hanuman and that he must be arrested.
The organisation alleged that the remarks had deeply hurt the sentiments of Hindus and expressed concern over the growing trend of disrespect towards Hindu deities in the film industry.
The Saroornagar Police are yet to take any action on the complaint. More details on the same are awaited.
