After Little Hearts, the combination of ETV Win, Bunny Vaas and Vamsi Nandipati scored yet another financial success with their latest venture, Raju Weds Rambai. Released on Friday, this movie crossed the breakeven mark by the end of the first weekend and successfully entered the profits zone.
Most of the collections came from the Nizam region, whereas the earnings are moderate in Andhra. Now, the crucial weekday test begins, and it remains to be seen how the film performs over the next few days.
According to the official reports, Raju Weds Rambai collected a total of Rs. 7.28 crores gross in three days, including paid premieres. The earnings continued to increase with each passing day. While it collected Rs. 1.47 crores on the release day(including paid premieres), it earned Rs. 2.57 crores on its second day. The collections further increased on Sunday with reported figures of around Rs. 3.24 crores.
The film has already entered the profit zone, thanks to the majority of collections coming from the Nizam region. It is expected to continue its good run in the Nizam’s rural areas, considering the positive word of mouth. However, we have to see if the collections pick up in Andhra as well over these weekdays and make the film further successful at the box office.
