Not Kareena, But This Bollywood Star Actress to Join Spirit?

After directing back-to-back Bollywood movies like Kabir Singh and Animal, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga seems to be keen on continuing his association with Hindi stars for his next films. He has already roped in Tripti Dimri as the female lead for his next film Spirit, which has Prabhas in the lead role. 

Earlier, there were rumours that popular actress Kareena Kapoor has reportedly landed a significant role in Spirit. However, she categorically denied the rumours and clarified that she is not a part of this high-profile cop drama. Meanwhile, the shooting formalities kicked off recently in Hyderabad. 

Now, the latest buzz is that yesteryear actress Kajol has been approached by Sandeep Reddy for a pivotal character in Spirit. It is heard that Kajol is impressed with the narration and agreed to sign the dotted line. Though an official announcement about this interesting buzz is awaited, the news quickly started going viral in the media. 

If this news turns out to be true, Spirit will mark Kajol’s debut in Tollywood. She previously appeared in a couple of Tamil movies, but never signed any Telugu film until now. She ruled the roost in Bollywood during her heydays and has a familiar image all over South India. 

As Sandeep Reddy is known for giving meaty characters for all his actors in the narrative, Kajol might be seen in a prominent author backed role in Spirit. Her husband Ajay Devgn, who is a noted actor in Bollywood, already made his debut in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. 

Already, Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has joined the cast and his inclusion was announced with the Spirit sound audio for Prabhas’ birthday. With other names like Tripti Dimri and Kajol, Spirit will have authentic Bollywood flavour besides Sandeep Reddy’s mark emotions and action elements which will connect with regional audience.
