Music Director Thaman is still enjoying the record views and likes for his songs in Ala Vaikuntapurramlo. A full album hit is a word we heard years back and he brought it back again by scoring all the chartbusters in the movie. Now that he is the music director for Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab, Pawan Kalyan fans are hoping to see if he could deliver all chartbusters and also make the star sing one in them.
Pawan Kalyan loved to sing folk songs for a few of his movies, like in Thammudu, Khushi, and the recent Katamarayuda song for Attarintiki Daredi. Also, Thaman has the habit of making the actors sing a full-length song in his movies. He did it with NTR for Raakaasi, Raviteja for Nautanki, Simbu for Diamond girl, Dhanush for Thikka title song, Raashi Khanna for You are my high, Shruti Haasan for Down Down Duppa.
Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab is more a serious film than a commercial entertainer. But, Pawan Kalyan fans are hoping that Thaman would at least try to add a folk song in the background and they want it to be crooned by Pawan himself.
Though Ala Vaikunttapurramlo turned the biggest hot among Thaman’s movies in this year, he has got some other decent hits also. Thaman is giving music for ten movies which are due for next year. The list is big and star-studded, like Krack, Thalapathy65, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Thank You, PSPK29, Balakrishna Boyapati 3, Vakeel Saab, Tuck Jagadish, and Eeswaran.
