Athadu Finds a New Satellite Partner After 1500 Telecasts

Athadu has remained one of Telugu cinema’s most rewatched films, thanks to Trivikram Srinivas’ mix of drama, entertainment and clever writing. In a surprising move, Athadu is now moving away from Star Maa after more than a decade of continuous broadcasts. Zee Telugu has acquired the renewal rights and will take over its satellite telecasts going forward.

Zee Telugu has lined up the film’s first screening for Sunday, December 14 at 3 PM. This move naturally raises curiosity about how the audience will respond to the change and whether the film will continue to command the same loyalty in a new satellite channel.
