Bolly Actress Who Did Bold Scenes Now Criticising Dhurandhar?

Bollywood heroine Radhika Apte, who is also popular down South for her brief stint in Tollywood, has the habit of inviting controversies with bold statements. She has once again grabbed the headlines with her recent comments during one of the promotional interviews for her latest OTT release Saali Mohabbat. 

In her media interaction, Radhika expressed deep concern over the increasing violence that is being sold as entertainment in films. Radhika went on to add that she cannot raise a child in the current world with such a disturbing trend. Though she didn’t name any particular film, moviegoers quickly came to a conclusion that she was indirectly refering to Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which hit the screens a few days ago. 

What shocked many is Radhika’s recent statements on movies. When she was in prime form at the beginning of her career, Radhika accepted bold characters with plenty of skin show. She did intimate scenes and also acted in several action films with violence with an excuse that story demanded such characters. 

All of a sudden when her career is on a downward spiral with no significant offers in her kitty, Radhika has now changed her stance and wants to stay in the limelight by doing some moral policing about content in films. Netizens are slamming Radhika on why she didn’t talk about the same child upbringing when she acted in lust stories with sensual episodes. 

Audience are pointing out that many in Bollywood are unable to digest the success of Dhurandhar and trying to spit venom on the film indirectly by taking about the violence in the film. In the past, Aamir Khan also made controversial statements about patriotism and safety in our country and faced serious backlash. Even Radhika Apte’s exaggerated remarks on movie content these days also didn’t go well with netizens who are attacking her on social media platforms.
