Malaysia Police Restrict Political Content at Vijay Event!

Thalapathy Vijay is currently leading two endeavours. While one is his political ambition through the Tamil Nadu political party TVK, the other is his familiar journey in films, with his upcoming movie Jana Nayagan heading for release this Sankranthi.

The latest discussion is about the audio launch event of this upcoming film, which is scheduled to be held soon. The event will not be held in India, as the organisers have finalised a venue in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

While one might expect Vijay to address a few political topics at the event, as it closely coincides with the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, that is reportedly not going to be the case.

According to reports, security authorities in Malaysia have made it very clear that there must be no political agenda at the event. The local police commissioner has stated that permission has been granted only on entertainment grounds and that there should be no political activity during the event.

This confirms that Vijay is unlikely to address any political issues at the mega event in Malaysia and will keep it strictly focused on his upcoming film Jana Nayagan. It is anticipated that over 90,000 people are likely to attend this massive audio launch event, which will see the presence of Thalapathy Vijay, Anirudh and the rest of the cast and crew.
