With Sankranti turning into a crowded battleground this year, promotions have become crucial for every film in the race. In this highly competitive season, Nari Nari Naduma Murari appears to be taking a surprisingly quiet approach.
The film has not seen any major promotional activity in the last few days. After the team wished writer Bhanu Bhogavarapu on his birthday, there have been no fresh updates. Even that poster did not mention a release date, which has raised questions.
Earlier, the makers had clearly announced a January 14 release with evening premieres, but the sudden silence around the date is puzzling.
Giving long gaps between updates is risky, especially when multiple big films are aggressively promoting themselves. No matter how confident a team is about content, staying visible during the festive season is essential.
Nari Nari Naduma Murari is directed by Ram Abbaraju, who gained popularity with Samajavaragamana. The film features Sakshi Vaidya and Samyuktha Menon as the female leads. Interestingly, the story follows a single hero caught between two heroines, a familiar but crowd pleasing formula that also appears in another upcoming Sankranti release.
The film is produced by Anil Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner, with music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar. If the team is firmly targeting a festival release, they may need to step up promotions soon with something special to stand out in the crowded Sankranti lineup.
