Akhil’s Lenin: A Make-or-Break Film for Bhagyashri?

It is very rare and difficult for happening starlets to find plump offers despite not scoring commercial success. Thanks to her appealing looks and promising acting mettle, Bhagyashri Borse did not face this situation at least for now as she continues to grab the attention of filmmakers. 

Even though her debut film Mr. Bachchan flopped, Bhagyashri stole the limelight with her impressive screen presence and energetic dance moves. She had three releases in 2025 with Kingdom, Kaantha and Andhra King Taluka. Unfortunately, none of these films gave her the much needed break for Bhagyashri as they did failed to make a noticeable impact on the box office. 

Luckily, she will have another quick chance to impress moviegoers and this time with Akkineni Akhil’s upcoming rustic action thriller Lenin, which is getting ready to hit the screens this Summer. Bhagyashri landed this role as a replacement for Sreeleela who exited the project due to her busy commitments. 

Bhagyashri is hoping that this opportunity will bring a stroke of luck to her career and hand over the first proper hit. This is second time that she came on board for a film after Sree Leela’s exit. While Vijay Devarakonda’s Kingdom did not bring any laurels, she wants to change the fate with Lenin and gain more recognition in Tollywood. 

Set in Rayalaseema backdrop, Lenin is said to be an action-packed period drama centered on honor killings. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the film is being produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni along with Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments.
