Dhanush to Team Up with Bollywood Director for the Fourth Time?

Anand L Rai, known for his ability to tug at heartstrings with his poignant love stories on the silver screen, is now venturing into a new genre with period action romance.

According to strong rumors circulating within the Hindi film industry, following the success of Tere Ishq Mein, Anand L Rai is planning to direct a period action romance film. Interestingly, the lead role is expected to go to none other than actor Dhanush.

The duo has already collaborated three times previously. Their partnership achieved significant success with Raanjhanaa and Tere Ishq Mein, though their venture Atrangi Re failed to replicate that same level of commercial success.

However, official confirmation regarding this new project has yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Dhanush’s 54th film, tentatively titled D54, has recently completed shooting and is expected to release in February or March 2026.

For now, audiences will need to wait a few more days for official confirmation to emerge regarding whether Dhanush will take on this period action romance project with Anand L Rai.
