Naidu’s 2029 Vision in Action

Andhra Pradesh is steadily moving towards a future shaped by long-term planning and clear milestones. What makes this journey special is the strong vision-driven roadmap laid out by Chandra Babu.

According to this roadmap, June 2026 will mark a major leap in connectivity with the completion of the Bhogapuram International Airport. This airport is expected to transform North Andhra by boosting jobs, tourism and global access which is something Babu has always stressed as essential for regional balance. Just 2 days back, the official pilot launch of the airport also happened.

By February 2027, the long-pending Veligonda Project is slated for completion. This irrigation project will bring water to drought-prone Rayalaseema areas, giving farmers relief and stability. For many villages, this will mean the difference between migration and sustainable livelihoods. In spite of some protests from the neighbouring Telangana state over sharing water with Rayalaseema, the project is still going on green and the project is continuing to work at some quick speed.

The next big milestone comes in August 2027 with the completion of the Polavaram Project. Often called the lifeline of Andhra Pradesh, Polavaram promises irrigation, drinking water, and power generation that shall fulfill a decades-old dream that Babu consistently pushed forward. He promises to get started operating the Polavaram on the occasion of Pushkaralu, making it a significant tribute to the nation and people of Godavari region.

By June 2028, the first phase of Amaravati is expected to be ready. Designed as a modern, people-first capital, Amaravati reflects Babu’s belief that world-class infrastructure attracts investment, talent and growth.

Finally, June 2029 could turn out as a political turning point, with CBN once again returning to power which this time backed not by graphics and slogans on which he was very much criticized by Jagan’s government but by the right outcomes that he is promising to get done by 2029. This roadmap shows that his politics is not about short-term gains, but long-term administrative vision.

For Andhra Pradesh, it signals one clear message: vision, when matched with execution, can truly change a state’s destiny.
