After Pawan Kalyan, It’s Ravi Teja: Harish Shankar

Ravi Teja and Kishore Tirumala’s Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi held its pre-release event last evening, graced by directors Harish Shankar, Bobby, and Shiva Nirvana as special guests.

Harish Shankar called Sudhakar Cherukuri his favourite producer. “He’s a passionate and sensible filmmaker. I’ll definitely make a movie under his banner soon. Recently, there was news that Ravi Teja asked to remove the ‘Mass Maharaja’ tag. I coined that title, and the patent rights are mine. It’s entirely his choice whether to use it or not. He never gets carried away by blockbusters or discouraged by flops—that is his true wisdom. After Pawan Kalyan, he’s the only one I know with such a rare quality.

Ravi Teja gave me both birth and rebirth as a director. Our last film didn’t meet expectations, but I’ll give him a solid hit again. Kishore Tirumala is one of my all-time favourite directors. There’s history behind this project—Mirapakay was released on the same date, and the same cinematographer, Prasad Murella, worked on it. This film will be a clean family blockbuster.”

Ravi Teja expressed strong confidence in the film. “Both heroines look stunning on screen. Our trio song is going to rock theatres, and audiences will love it. Full credit to Prasad Murella for showcasing us beautifully—this is my ninth film with him. There’s also a surprise song that will thrill the audience. The film has no serious or emotional fights- just pure entertainment. Sunil’s role is reminiscent of Dubai Shine, and Satya excels in every character he plays.

I truly enjoy working with directors like Anil Ravipudi, Harish Shankar, Bobby, and Kishore- they’re all terrific actors themselves. My next film is with Shiva Nirvana, and we’re coming up with a great story. Since they’re writer-directors, everything falls perfectly in place. This film is definitely going to be a hit. Bheems has delivered great music again. Kishore gave strong emotion in our previous collaboration; this time, it’s a complete fun ride. I wish to work with him again.”

Director Kishore Tirumala once again danced on stage, setting a joyous tone for the event.
