Vijay Deverakonda said he has been facing planned negative campaigns against his films since the release of Dear Comrade. He shared that he noticed these attacks early, but many did not believe him at first. Only later, when other filmmakers faced similar issues, did they understand what he was talking about.
Vijay explained that some directors and producers who worked with him later realised how organised and harmful these campaigns can be. He also said that he spent many sleepless nights trying to figure out who was behind them and why they were doing it.
The actor added that this is not just about his career. He believes cinema must be protected from such negativity so that future actors and filmmakers can work in a healthier and fair environment.
