Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the most respected and influential personalities in Telugu cinema, a status he has maintained for several decades. The legendary actor has now spoken openly about the casting couch allegations that often surface in the film industry.
Chiranjeevi called upon passionate female and male filmmakers to enter the industry and strengthen their skills. He confidently stated that the film industry always harbors and values talent above everything else.
“There may be references to casting couch or related incidents, but one must remember that if you work professionally and genuinely, the other person will also behave accordingly. If you are firm with your principles, no one will attempt to take advantage of you. This is something I strongly believe in. Be professional and straightforward, and everyone will understand,” Chiranjeevi said.
It was commendable of Chiranjeevi to speak so honestly and directly about the otherwise controversial topic of the casting couch.
He confidently encouraged youngsters to remain professional and firm with their principles, stating that this approach would help them ward off any unwanted advances from those seeking to exploit them.
