Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and director Shiva Nirvana’s maiden collaboration, backed by Mythri Movie Makers, has generated strong buzz. In an unexpected move, the makers unveiled both the title and the first look of the film, marking Ravi Teja’s birthday.
The title Irumudi, inspired by the sacred Ayyappa tradition, perfectly aligns with the depth of the poster. Ravi Teja appears in a never-before-seen devotional avatar- adorned in mala attire, vibhuti, rudraksha, and the symbolic Irumudi bag. Set against a vibrant spiritual gathering, his joyous expression captures the film’s cultural and devotional essence. The presence of a young girl in his arms adds an emotional layer, hinting at a key father–daughter narrative.
Shiva Nirvana’s script is said to offer a powerful mix of family drama and mass appeal, with the first look alone highlighting how unique and refreshing Ravi Teja’s portrayal will be- truly a novel attempt for the actor.
Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, while Baby Nakshathra steps into the daughter’s role. GV Prakash handles the music, and Vishnu Sarma serves as the cinematographer.
The shoot of Irumudi is currently underway.
