For the first time since its announcement as Andhra Pradesh’s capital, Amaravati is hosting the state-level Republic Day celebrations. The event is being seen as a major milestone, not just politically but also from a policy perspective.
It coincides with the announcement of the official Capital Bill for Amaravati, which will legally establish it as the state’s permanent capital, making the decision binding and irreversible.
