Needless Rumours Distracting The Spirit’s Hype!

Despite the miserable box office result of The Raja Saab, Prabhas’ upcoming projects continue to command solid hype among moviegoers. His cop drama Spirit under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga has already been creating tremors in trade circles with mammoth expectations.

While Spirit is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated upcoming pan-India biggies, needless rumours have been frequently making rounds only to distract the hype in audience. Despite no official announcement and clear clarification from the director himself, fans and media regularly keep circulating unverified news about the film. 

Earlier there were rumours that Megastar Chiranjeevi will play a pivotal role in this film. But, the news turned out to be false after the director himself quashed the rumours as baseless. Again, the same rumours started going viral on social media platforms and in some web portals from the past couple of days. 

Recently, there were reports that actor Gopichand has been roped in for a negative role opposite Prabhas. However, sources close to the team unequivocally denied any such casting in Spirit.

Prabhas fans, who are getting excited with these unsubstantiated media reports, should avoid creating unnecessary expectations as the film has already generated unprecedented buzz with the Spirit Sound and the first look poster. 

The unexpected announcement on the release date is also another strong statement from Sandeep Reddy and his team that there will be no room for speculations regarding any major update concerning this big-budget film. 

Spirit is written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It stars Tripti Dimri as the female lead. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, Krishan Kumar, and Prabhakar Reddy Vanga. It is slated for release on March 5th 2027.
