Seven distinguished personalities from the Telugu states were honoured with the Padma Shri on Sunday. Among them were renowned surgeon Dr. GV Rao and eminent scientist Kumarasamy Thangaraj from Telangana. Andhra Pradesh had four recipients, including veteran actors Murali Mohan and Rajendra Prasad.
In a heartwarming gesture of companionship, Megastar Chiranjeevi personally visited the homes of Murali Mohan and Rajendra Prasad on Republic Day to congratulate them.
Chiranjeevi, who himself received the Padma Bhushan in 2006 and Padma Vibhushan in 2024 for his contributions to cinema and society, felicitated both actors with traditional shawls and expressed deep admiration for their accomplishments. Their interaction exuded warmth, mutual respect, and nostalgia, reflecting their long-standing association in Telugu cinema.
Chiranjeevi also extended his wishes to all the Padma awardees. By personally honoring these individuals, he once again showcased his golden heart. He continues to be a guiding force, consistently promoting unity and goodwill.
