Dhurandhar 2 Teaser: A Big Betrayal for Fans

After the first part witnessed a roaring box office reception with a record-breaking haul, the sequel to Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster of 2025 Dhurandhar is gearing up for a huge release on March 19th. There are massive trade expectations and high anticipation is building among fans on the sequel. 

The makers announced that the teaser of Dhurandhar 2 will be out today morning. Unfortunately, the short glimpse turned out to be a big disappointment as the team betrayed moviegoers by not showing any unseen footage from the second installment, but rather dropped the same montage that was played at the end credits of the first part. 

The one minute teaser of Dhurandhar – The Revenge kicks off by revealing the younger version of Ranveer Singh’s character and also showcases Hamza Mazari establishing his dominance over Lyari town. It ends with Ranveer reciting the iconic line from ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’: “Yeh naya Hindustan hai, yeh ghar mein ghusega bhi aur marega bhi.” 

There is nothing new or exciting in the teaser to capture the attention of audiences who are expecting at least a few glimpses into the story and setting of the sequel. Critics and audience are miffed with the poor strategy adopted by the makers and they feel that it may damage the buzz created by the first part and also dilute the hype on the second part. 

The sequel of this espionage thriller is expected to delve into the life of Ranveer Singh as Jaskirat Singh Rangi before turning Hamza Ali Mazari in Lyaari. Fans are expecting that Akshaye Khanna will also reappear in the backstory to make the second part more reveting and intense. 

As soon the teaser was out, there has been considerable backlash on the team for spoiling the hype with a worst marketing tactic. 

The sequel written and directed by Aditya Dhar also features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan.
