Ustaad & Biker To Begin Tollywood’s Summer!

Summer 2026 is supposed to host a bunch of Tollywood biggies and keep the cash registers ringing at the box office by taking advantage of the long holiday season. Big-ticket films like Peddi, The Paradise and Vishwambhara were initially slated for release in the next few months.

However, there is a major shuffle in the release dates as all these three notable films pulled out of the Summer race due to the delay in their production. The last minute postponement of these highly anticipated biggies came as a huge disappointment for both trade circles and moviegoers.

Now, Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited cop drama Ustaad Bhagat Singh has been finalized to take up the slot vacated by Peddi as the makers are going to announce March 26th as the release date. A formal announcement is likely to be made very soon.

The Harish Shankar directional will have a strong chance to storm the box office as there are good expectations and there will be no big competition from any other regional films in that week. If the film manages to get decent reports, it is going to have a long run during Summer.

Meanwhile, Sharwanand’s long delayed sports drama Biker has locked April 3rd as the release date. The promising success of Nari Nari Naduma Murari during the Sankranti festival has boosted the buzz on Biker among buyers.

Biker is touted as one-of-its-kind motocross racing film which was crafted with high technical values in real-time outdoor shoots capturing the essence of the adventurous sport.

The genre and the teasers have already piqued the curiosity of audiences and created decent hype for the film. Directed by Abhilash Kankara, the film is backed by renowned production house UV Creations.

Both Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Biker are arriving in theatres at the right time when audience love to visit theatres as the mercury levels start to soar during the sultry season.
