The makers of What’s Up Naresh, starring Kavya Kalyanram and Anvesh Michael, have dropped a brand-new Valentine’s Day glimpse- this time leaning into gentle romance and relatable modern-day dating. Directed by CV Vishal and produced by Bhagya Laxmi Chinta under CVV Cinema, the new video moves away from the chaotic humour of the first glimpse and enters calmer, more heartfelt territory.
Things kick off when the protagonist and the heroine match on a dating app. Their coffee meet-up unfolds with easy conversation, gradually dipping into deeper truths about past relationships, social expectations, and the realities of caste in present-day matchmaking. It’s subtle, honest, and instantly grounds the film in today’s world.
The glimpse then transitions into a warm montage: quiet smiles, gentle glances, and the early spark of a bond that feels both natural and endearing. Kavya and Anvesh share an understated chemistry that makes you root for them almost instantly. Although the glimpse is extensive, it engages with pleasant narrative.
Smaran Sai, fresh off his acclaimed work in Psych Siddhartha, once again shines, with the final segment offering a calming musical touch. The cozy visual palette crafted by Vedaraman Sankaran, the film’s second glimpse presents a breezy yet emotionally rooted rom-com vibe- perfectly timed for the season of love.
What’s Up Naresh now looks set to offer a grounded, feel-good journey into modern romance.
