Allu Arjun 42 Dos & Don’ts Issue: Apology, A Formality, Damage Forever!

The media sales professional and the Podcast Host who were behind the unsubstantiated allegations on Allu Arjun have retracted them. After a week of the storm, both of them issued an apology citing that statements made were incorrect and were not based on any verified document or factual material.

“To be clear, no document containing “42 dos and don’ts” was issued to me by Mr. Allu Arjun or by anyone acting on his behalf. My remarks were made in the flow of conversation and should not have been presented as factual assertions,” the woman who made the allegations clarified.

She further added, “I sincerely regret making those statements and any misunderstanding or reputational harm they may have caused. I withdraw the remarks in their entirety. I have the utmost respect for Mr. Allu Arjun and his body of work, and I regret any inconvenience caused”.

Allu Arjun’s team is likely to drop the legal proceedings after the Public apology. But then, that brings us to the question if this is enough. It has become quite common to make allegation on Film Stars to grab instant attention and Views but those statements undo years of hard work to build an image for the stars.

Unfortunately, in the digital age, a video or picture once published can never be retracted completely.

Even though the YouTube Channel took the video down, the snippets of the controversial remarks will be live forever and will be used when needed in the fan wars.

Also, these days, negativity spreads faster than the explanations or condemnations. The Reach of those clips will be several millions times higher than the apology. That reflects on the damage inflicted to the hard-earned image of the celebrity.

Sometimes, it will be better to wage a legal battle and get logic conclusion so that this can be severed as an example to those who are in this business. Probably, Allu Arjun’s team thought it will be harsh on two women.
