Why Dil Raju Is Very Confident On Simham?

Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights of Gaayapadda Simham for the Telugu states and overseas markets. What makes this deal more interesting is that it is said to be a fancy, non refundable advance. This clearly reflects his strong confidence in the film’s content and commercial potential.

The film stars Tharun Bhascker and is directed by debutant Kasyap Sreenivas. The teaser received a very good response and created positive buzz in trade circles. It looked energetic, fun filled and different from regular entertainers. The title also generated curiosity among audiences.

However, there is also a small risk factor. Tharun’s recent film Om Shanti Shanti did not perform well at the box office and failed to secure even minimum openings. Despite that setback, Dil Raju seems to believe that Gaayapadda Simham has the strength to connect with a wider audience.

With strong distribution backing and growing buzz, the film has now gained extra momentum ahead of its Summer 2026 release. All eyes are now on the trailer to see if the hype turns into solid box office prospects.
