India has successfully completed the group stage of the ongoing T20 World Cup without much trouble, winning all four matches. However, there is one major concern with the top order, and it revolves around Abhishek Sharma. Telugu cricket fans fondly call him “Puli,” which means the tiger of cricket.

Over the last couple of years, Abhishek Sharma has been one of the most destructive batsmen for India, and he has been in breathtaking form. But things are not going his way in the ongoing T20 World Cup as he got out for the third consecutive duck out last night. 

Abhishek Sharma has played three games in the World Cup and he got out of zero runs in all three of them. The fact that he has not even scored a single run in the T20 World Cup is as shocking as it can get.

Before the start of the World Cup, Abhishek was in brutal form as he performed exceptionally against New Zealand as well in the T20 series. But he has been struggling very badly in the World Cup as bowlers appear to have cracked the code against him.

If India is to have a considerably good run in the upcoming games in the tournament, then Abhishek is going to be very crucial in this process, and it is about time that he picks up the fire within to score adequately. 

On the other hand, the strike rate of Tilak Varma is also raising concerns and the responsibility is on him as well to pick up the momentum rather than playing stagnated innings.
