Allu Arjun Flaunting Fans Associations Publicly: Terrible Idea!

Allu Arjun is strengthening his fans associations by forming district committees across the Telugu States. The idea is to strengthen its commitment toward social responsibility and organized fandom, according to the Press Release.

Earlier, they officially formed the district committees of Andhra Pradesh and now, they formed Rayalaseema district committees.

In October, Allu Arjun himself personally met fans from across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and took photographs. The idea of involving fans associations for social service is very good but then, openly flaunting the Associations is so old school.

Allu Arjun’s team should have silently formed the Associations and publicized the Good Work done by them. That way, automatically, the fan groups will make an impression and it will also give an impression how organized they are.

Congregating the fans in some convention centers, having them wearing black-color shirts with AA logos and giving Press Releases about the same are giving a wrong impression. The Group photos enclosed in the Press Releases give even a bad opinion.  

Previously, when a Press Release about these Fans Associations was released, they became a target of social media as some people called Allu Arjun self-obsessed and these Associations as if they are doing organized crime.

Not asking Allu Arjun to yield to the mob but in social media, some things are better handled. Anything and everything Allu Arjun is so closely scrutinized. Instead of flaunting these organizations, Allu Arjun’s team should let their good work do the talking.

In fact, it is better to leave the publicity part to them. It is a bad idea for Hero’s PR teams to publicize them.

Almost all the star heroes have well-organized fan associations. In the Social Media era, it has become important too. But the formulation and strategies should happen on WhatsApp and only their good work should come in the Press.

Also, it should always appear like these Fans Associations are independent and not managed/organized by the heroes or their teams.

That is because Stars should not be encouraging Fan Culture even if they say it is for social service. We have seen stars like Ajith disbanding them completely. People like that attitude of stars.

In this era, openly flaunting and encouraging them as Allu Arjun is doing is definitely a bad idea.
