The skeleton seems to be finally out of the closet as Kollywood superstar and TVK party chief Thalapathy Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan have symbolically made their alleged relationship official by attending a wedding event together amid ongoing rumours.

This comes after Vijay’s estranged wife Sangeetha recently filed divorce papers due to betrayal and extramarital affair. As Vijay is set to contest in the upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu, his political opponents have immediately started using this controversial issue to attack him.

However, Vijay’s fans quickly came to his rescue and tried to defend him while alleging that the entire divorce episode is nothing but a conspiracy by opposition parties to tarnish his political career. They tried to maintain that both Vijay and Trisha have been good friends all these years.

When fans are expecting Vijay to come clean in this unsavoury controversy ahead of the poll battle, he shocked everyone by doing exactly the opposite by attending an event along with Trisha Krishnan.

Though it is understandable that fans cannot digest the very fact that Vijay has been involved in relationship with Trisha, political observers and a few senior fans believe that the actor did the right by making it indirectly official well before the elections so that opposition parties can no longer use this issue against him.
