Suriya To Have Two Releases Within Two Months?

Tamil star Suriya is reportedly gearing up for an interesting phase in his career with two major film releases expected within a short gap of two months. The actor, who has recently faced a few setbacks at the box office, is now hoping to bounce back with these upcoming projects.

The first film in line is Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji. The makers are currently planning to release the film on May 1, and discussions regarding the release date are underway as of now. 

Interestingly, two major OTT platforms have reportedly watched the film and are said to be quite impressed with the content. Reports suggest that they are willing to spend a significant amount to acquire the digital rights, and their decision could also influence the final release date.

Soon after Karuppu, Suriya is expected to arrive with another film titled Vishwanath and Sons. The project is being directed by Venky Atluri and is currently scheduled for release in July 2026. If both projects release as planned, Suriya will have two big releases within a span of just two months. 

This back-to-back release strategy could play a crucial role in reviving the actor’s box office momentum and reconnecting with audiences across Tamil and Telugu markets. Fans are now eagerly waiting to see if these films can bring Suriya back to winning ways.
