T20 WC Final: India Sets All Time Record

Team India started the T20 World Cup as one of the favourites to win the title this year and in accordance with this, they have reached the finals of the tournament. 

The final game between India and New Zealand is currently happening in Ahmedabad, and it has turned out to be a pretty entertaining affair in the first innings. 

After being put to bat first, India scored a sensational 255 runs in the first innings. This is the highest ever total recorded in the final of the T20 World Cup, and India has made everyone proud with the same.

Absolutely sensational batting by Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Shivam Dubey have all worked out in favour of the Indian team in the first innings. 

Also, India has become the first team in the history of T20 World Cup to record three scores in excess of 250. This is the first time that any team has been able to set this record. The good thing is that India could continue this momentum and score such a massive score in the all important final.

Now we have to patiently wait for New Zealand’s response in the second innings. India will need to be vigilant of the bowling performance, considering the fact that this is the final game and great caution is to be exercised.
