The much-awaited film Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, has begun its overseas bookings on a promising note. With the premieres still about ten days away, the film has already started building decent momentum in the USA market.
As per the latest reports, the film has collected around $56,339 from 151 locations across 508 shows, selling close to 2,280 tickets so far. With these numbers, the total North America premiere advance sales have crossed $62K, which is considered a good start given the current level of buzz surrounding the film.
Trade analysts say the numbers could grow further as more theatre chains begin opening bookings. Currently, several AMC shows are listed but not yet available for booking, which means the overall collections may rise significantly once those tickets go live.
Industry insiders believe the film has opened on a positive note, but maintaining this momentum will be crucial in the coming days. Much of the buzz will depend on the promotional material released by the team.
Director Harish Shankar is expected to release a powerful theatrical trailer soon. Fans feel that a well-cut trailer highlighting the film’s mass elements could significantly boost the hype and push bookings to the next level before the premiere date.
