Pradeep’s LIK Trailer: Get Your Love Insured

Pradeep Raganathan’s long-delayed project Love Insurance Kompany is hitting the screens on April 10th. The team launched the trailer today, which gives us a glimpse into the film’s world.

Set in a futuristic world, the film deals with the concept of getting love insured. The concept is neatly presented in the trailer, but we have to see to what extent the film connects on an emotional note when it gets released.

As per the trailer, SJ Suryah sets up Love Insurance Kompany which is an app that insures love. The app will tell which couples will stick together and which couples will actually break up.

When Pradeep Ranganathan falls for a girl named Dheema, played by Krithi Shetty, the app decides that he is cheating, and she takes it as an excuse to break up with him. However, Vas, played by Pradeep, is hurt and embarks on a mission to take down LIK as well as win Krithi’s love back.

The concept looks good on paper and interestingly, director Vignesh Shivn set the film in a future period of time. The presence of fun elements will make the film appeal to youth.

However, the love track that is underlyingly present might only be explored full on the big screen. For now, there is some curiosity as to how the concept unfolds but we have to see its potential only in theatres.
