Andhra Pradesh and Telangana politics are completely different breed altogether when it comes to theatrics and entertaining visuals. This was on a scintillating display today as KCR’s office in Gajwel witnessed a very unexpected incident.
Incidentally, KCR’s camp office in Gajwel witnessed an influx of congress leaders earlier in the day today. They created a big scene at this office by reportedly hanging the photo of chief minister Revanth Reddy inside the office premises.
It was further established that certain Congress leaders created more ruckus at the office by breaking the furniture and tarnishing the premises.
This was followed by significant reciprocal action by the BRS as senior leader, Vanteru Pratap Reddy barged in and removed the chief minister’s photo. This is much in appeasement to the BRS cadre, but they are still unable to process the fact that Revanth’s photo was hung at KCR’s office.
The fundamental factor is that Revanth Reddy is the arch nemesis of KCR and it has been the case for over a decade now. It would have been an absolute gutting sight for BRS leaders to witness Revanth Reddy image at KCR’s premises. This must have greatly agitated the BRS top leadership as well if the matter reached them.
But at the end of the day, such aggressive and provocative politics are never good for the progress of any state as they would not contribute to the administration and in fact, create public unrest. Such activities will not reflect well on the ruling party itself.
