A Big Monday Test Lies Ahead for Dacoit

Dacoit has successfully cleared its first weekend test with decent numbers, but the real challenge begins now. Despite receiving mixed to decent reviews and not a unanimous positive response, the film managed to put up a solid show over the weekend.

Thanks to Adivi Sesh’s strong image and following, the film held steady even with the distraction of ongoing IPL matches. As of Sunday night, Dacoit has grossed approximately 35 crore worldwide, which is a respectable total considering the circumstances.

However, the crucial phase starts from Monday. For the film to reach its breakeven mark of ₹60 crore, it needs to maintain consistent collections during the weekdays. This is where word of mouth and repeat value will play a key role.

If Dacoit manages to hold well over the next few days, it still has a fair chance to recover its costs. But any significant drop could make the journey tougher. All eyes are now on the weekday trend to determine the film’s final box office fate.
