70mm Entertainments, known for making content-rich movies, announced their new project. Produced on a massive scale by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy, the movie stars Sundeep Kishan and will be directed by Krishna Chaitanya. This combination alone generates inquisitiveness.
The movie gets an impactful title Power Peta. The title announcement was accompanied by a striking poster. It sees a gritty depiction of a blood-drenched chessboard, with shattered and fallen pieces suggesting themes of strategy, conflict, and loss.
A wilted rose crushed among the tiles adds a contrasting emotional weight, reinforcing the film’s thematic trio- Love, Honour, and Politics. The poster clearly aims to signal a narrative built on high stakes, moral dilemmas, and complex interpersonal dynamics.
The technical team assembled for Power Peta is equally noteworthy. Music director Mani Sharma, cinematographer Madhie, and National Award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad bring significant expertise. Production designers Ramakrishna and Monika and sound designers Sachin Sudhakaran and Hariharan complete the film’s core crew.
Krishna Chaitanya reportedly penned a first-of-its-kind story to present Sundeep Kishan in a never-seen-before avatar. The actor indeed will undergo a new makeover for his character. The movie will go on floors soon, as the pre-production works are presently underway.
